On February 18, 2025, Fuchao Elementary School had a special visit! Two wonderful teachers from the United States, Ms. Cassidy and Ms. Karina, joined our "Fuchao International Connect" class.

Students from third to sixth grade were so excited to meet them! Our students shared amazing facts about famous travel spots in Taiwan, telling the American teachers all about our beautiful island. Then, Ms. Cassidy and Ms. Karina shared stories about what daily life is like for elementary students in America. It was really interesting to learn about schools in another country!

This was a fantastic chance for all the students to practice speaking English! They got to ask questions, share their thoughts, and have real conversations. Everyone had a great time learning from each other and making new friends across different cultures. What a memorable day at Fuchao Elementary!

On January 29th, 2025, Fuchao Elementary School kept up a wonderful tradition by celebrating the first day of the Lunar New Year! Every two years, the school visits local temples, and this year was extra special as they welcomed the Year of the Snake.

The celebration kicked off with the principal and the Parents' Association President leading the way. Students from the Drum Dance Troupe and the Chinese Flute Troupe, along with school staff, visited three temples in the community.

The Drum Dance performance is really special because it needs a lot of teamwork! Many students work together using different tools like flags, big drums, colorful umbrellas, and gongs. They move their feet in special ways to create different formations. This traditional performance used to be a fun way for people to relax after working hard on the farm, and it's also a way to show respect to the gods.

This year, the celebration was even more beautiful with the addition of the Chinese Flute Troupe! Their lovely music helped welcome the very first day of the new year. The children were full of energy and excitement! Their performances were absolutely wonderful, bringing lots of festive cheer to everyone. Everyone loved seeing the students share their talents and spread happiness throughout the community on this special day!

Wow! What a fun day at Fuchao Elementary School! On December 27th, right at the end of the year, all the students got to show off their amazing talents. Our school's activity center was filled with cheers and excitement as friends and teachers watched.

Lots of students bravely went on stage to share their special skills. Some children sang beautiful songs, and their voices filled the hall. Others showed us awesome dance moves, twirling and jumping to the music. We even heard some fantastic music played on different instruments! It was so cool to see how many talented musicians we have at Fuchao.

Everyone did a great job, and you could see how hard they practiced. It was a wonderful way to end the year and celebrate all the cool things our students can do! We can't wait to see what talents they'll share next year!
